Many dog rescues, including Wagging Tails, operate entirely on the time and energy of volunteers. Without this effort, many wonderful and deserving dogs would languish and die in animal shelters, and families looking for a pet would turn instead to pet stores and backyard breeders, helping to perpetuate the associated problems of overpopulation, poor breeding, and animal cruelty.
You can do something to help.
We are always in need of foster homes. Fostering lets you personally touch the life of a dog, and help bridge the gap from hopelessness to happiness. In addtion, there are numerous other volunteer opportunities, including administrative jobs, transportation, and public outreach.
We gratefully accept donations. Monetary donations help us to pay expenses and provide medical care for our dogs. We also accept donations of dog-related items and professional services. WTDR is a charitable New Hampshire non-profit corporation. Donations are tax deductible.
We are supported in part by local businesses. Our sponsors include doctors, groomers, trainers, and other local merchants. When you visit them, please thank them for supporting us!
